Terumo Europe N.V. was founded in 1971 and generates €424 million in annual sales (FY10). While some products and devices sold by the company are produced in Japan and in the United States, select items are manufactured by Terumo Europe N.V. in Belgium (e.g. syringes, needles, vacuum tubes, catheters and introducers for interventional radiology) and in the United Kingdom (tubing packs for open heart surgery).
